A drawing course for the advanced learner by Artem Alexeev, dedicated to the human figure and its various properties, aims to equip students with the tools and knowledge to capture a highly animated human form without sacrificing its liveliness.
Key reflective themes include the constantly shifting nature of what we draw, the choices artists make in the age of photography and AI, and why.
Throughout the course, students
receive individual and collective guidance, feedback, and technical exercises.
All concepts are demonstrated through practical drawing sessions centered on
the human figure, head and their unique expressive qualities.
The course is designed for students with a level corresponding at least one semester previous learning at our regular Day School. If you have aquired a similar level otherwise, we kindly ask you to document this by sending a portfolio to tegneskolekbh@gmail.com
A live model will be available every session, and model fee is included in the price.
Please note: Discounted price for students, unemployed and retired is available only to residents of Copenhagen Municipality proper, and we are required to ask for documentation of your status and eligibility.
